FAQS - The most common questions about our Keratin Infusion treatment
My hair is bleached, can I have Keratin Infusion?
When it comes to fine, oily hair, the priority is clear: deep cleansing without damaging the hair. This type of hair tends to be more fragile, loses volume easily, and quickly becomes saturated if we use the wrong products. The solution? The combination of Manila Shampoo and Melrose Shampoo. A lightweight formula with ingredients that purify the scalp and regulate sebum production without drying or weighing hair down.
How should oily and fine hair be washed?
It’s not just about what you use, but how you use it. Proper washing makes a difference when it comes to fine hair with an oily tendency. We recommend following these steps:
- Apply shampoo only on the scalp. That’s where the sebum accumulates and where the product should act. Avoid spreading it to the ends unless necessary.
- Massage with gentle circular motions. This stimulates circulation and helps the active ingredients penetrate better without encouraging more oiliness.
- Rinse with lukewarm water, never hot. Very hot water can alter sebum production.
- Repeat washing only if there is a lot of buildup. Sometimes a single application is enough.
- Avoid conditioner at the roots. Apply only from mid-lengths to ends to prevent weighing down the hair or increasing the oily feeling.
